YAHOO CHAT IN FLUX

The last few weeks has seen Yahoo chat in a state of flux. Yahoo discontinued its YCHT protocol, added connectivity to some other instant messaging services and dropped some popular rooms like chatterbox and Chat Central.

The ability to make unlisted public rooms is there, sometimes, and sometimes not. YahELite build 301 is now available to handle some recent changes in Yahoo.

Yahoo servers are dropping text packets, in some cases up to 15% of chat text just disappears. This is happening to all chatters regardless of which client they use.
YahELite users can use the chat command /number and /nonumber to see
that chat text lines are missing, and some chat text lines arrive out of order!
